Raquel Corpron a member of the Sandy City Royalty set up her community service initiative called Gardening for good

Gardening for goods mission it to be able to help individuals and families struggling to afford fresh produce and enjoy the nutrients they provide. Gardening for good will accomplish this by donating at least 500 pounds of fresh vegetables to people in need. We have created an area where people can sign up to grow vegetables or donate fruit from their trees. We will provide plants to people willing to help grow. We will provide growing tips for those gardeners. We will even provide cooking tips as many vegetables that can easily be grown in the Utah climate are not overly common and many grocery stores.
